Noodle Bar is Like My Dad - Two Years and Still Missing :(

RENAISSANCE COLLEGE — The world-famous Noodle Bar on the first floor of the Cafeteria is STILL closed after TWO YEARS. Coincidentally, the Noodle Bar closed on the exact same day as my dad, who left to get milk after I turned twelve.

The Noodle Bar closed in 2020 for “COVID-related reasons”. However, with all the hotel quarantine and all that jazz opening up, I believe it is time we revolt to get the Noodle Bar (and my father) back.

I mean, you can eat in every restaurant nowadays! The Cafeteria and their curry fish ball snacks are also open — why is the Noodle Bar neglected?

I remember the days when soft and processed long, thin strips of noodles and the thick, strong chicken and miso broth shimmered below the dark red sign “NOODLE BAR”. The noodles — which are actually worth the money unlike the Cafeteria items now — tasted delicious and umami when mixed with the red and hot chilli oil.

Oh, it was good. The gods in the heavens must have blessed our school with mouth-watering nood(le)s for students.

The gods also blessed me with my father. My beloved father — whom I loved a lot — was always amazing to me when he wasn’t beating me up after a ‘rough night’ at work.

I have a theory, my dad is a Noodle God.

He disappeared to bless other students with the noodles handcrafted by the heavens. Then he will promptly ditch them without notice to be with other children.

My dad might be a cheater.

Anyway, the pizza and pasta bar is also closed. I guess the employees from the company responsible™ might be slacking off. I wouldn’t let this happen if I was the CEO of the company responsible™.

So, if any of you who can make a difference are reading this:

Please bring it back!

We all want it back!

And if my dad is reading this:

Please come back!

I want you back!

*cries*
