When Jesus H. Christ died on the cross two thousand years ago for our sins, we have been long awaiting for his return. The so-called Second Coming of Christ was prophesied to occur after his ascension to heaven. We have waited long, hoping for our lord and savior to come back and bless our world. And he has returned, and the two thousand year suspension has been worth it, for he has blessed us in the form of Morbius.
Released in April, Jared Leto embraced his true self and became the Morb. With his glorbius method acting, he was expected to deliver one of the performances of our decade. He was a phenomenon on set. Director Daniel Espinosa said that this was more similar to a documentary. As soon as Leto heard he was going to be playing Morbius, he instantaneously transformed into the supposed Living Vampire, transforming into a cloud of bats and leaving out through the window. Espinoa ordered a camera crew to follow Leto all at times, producing this movie. There was no CGI involved in this film.
Joining the cast as Leto’s antagonist is Matt Smith as Milo. Smith is mostly known for having previously played Doctor Who in Doctor Who. His performance in this movie has made audience members wonder if it should have been Smith on the Morbius, but if it was we wouldn’t have gotten classic scenes as the so called “Have Sex” dance. Smith’s performance showed that he was definitely an actor of our time.
The most outstanding scene by far was when Morbius (Jared Leto) was in a standoff with the bad guys of the movie (forgor who they were). There were 5 of them, each with an assault rifle with bullets that could travel up to 2600 feet per second. All trained mercenaries, Michael Morbius (Morbius (Jared Leto)) was clearly outmatched. The room was 20,000 square feet big, and he was in the center of it. The mercenaries chuckled, and Morbius knew it was time. His eyes turned dark blue, pupils dilating. He took a deep breath, and sent shockwaves outwards from his own body. He opened his mouth, and came the words,
“It’s morbin’ time”.
Immediately five people in the front row of the cinema went into cardiac arrest. Some of the luckier ones near the front simply fainted. Those in the back turned into hounds, chanting “MORB MORB MORB”. The cinema staff all turned into bats, fluttering into the sky. We all watched in awe as Morbius morbed all over the henchman, travelling five times the speed of light. A fortunate couple instantaneously exploded into blue dust as soon Morbius looked into the camera. In the end, an overall average Morbius watching experience that I personally found enjoyable, would watch again.
Morbius also appeared as cameos in other MCU movies. In the post credit scene in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Dr Michael Morbius (Morbius (Jared Leto)) appeared to morb Doctor Strange. Tears were flowing. He also appeared as the main antagonist in the recent Spider Man film, killing Tom Holland within the first 4 minutes of the movie. The rest of the movie contained Morbius watching Reddit Reaction videos.
This so called “Morbius Revolution” was going great. We were soon all going to turn into Morbius creatures, and it would always be morbin time. But, Jared Leto uploaded a video of him acknowledging the Morbin Time phrase. Now, there will be no more morbin time. Jared Leto had morbed, the morb.
It’s always morbin this morbin that but the truth is I’m morbidly depressed
