This is a true cautionary tale for all you children. Do not take the IBDP.
Ever since I was a child, I had luscious soft hair. When people touched my hair, they would often go “oh wow, your hair is so soft,” and I would reply with a proud smile. “Yes, I know.” My dream was to become a hair model, to flaunt my hair in front of the whole world. I wanted to become the Tyra Banks of hair. The Naomi Campbell of hair modelling. I would sport bright dyed hair, daring hairstyles like the graduated cut or even fringes. Everything was within reach when I was just sixteen years old. I only had two more years to go. Until…
I took IBDP.
At first I thought it was just normal hair shed. Then it grew exponentially.
My friends began noticing. My hairline was falling apart. No matter how much I combed my hair, I couldn’t hide my hair disappearing. Even when I changed my parting, I still had no hair on the other parts of my skull.
CAS, EE, IA, Assessments, All work and no play. I pass out at the end of each day. When can I take a break? How long can my hair last until the last strand falls? Oh, the humility.
My dreams of becoming a Pantene model. All gone.
A nightmare. My life had become a nightmare.

Obama’s Expert Opinion:
Obama here, world renowned hair stylist and known for nothing else. I think this case of IBDP causing balding is quite interesting. A young girl’s soft hair falling off due to what seems to be academic stress is rare, but not unseen. Academic stress can be a common issue with teens, especially if they choose dumb CAS options such as a satirical newspaper that requires them to manage multiple gremlins.
Unfortunately there is no treatment. I guess this young lady will just have to take the L.
Obama out.
